Apple intends to increase investment in US economy.

Apple has ambitious plans to make new contributions of more than $430 billion and add 20,000 new jobs across the country over the next five years. "At this moment of recovery and rebuilding, Apple is doubling down on our commitment to US innovation and manufacturing with a generational investment reaching communities across all 50 states. We're creating jobs in cutting-edge fields — from 5G to silicon engineering to artificial intelligence — investing in the next generation of innovative new businesses, and in all our work, building toward a greener and more equitable future," Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, said.

The new initiative will cover almost all states of the country. Apple will invest in the construction of roads and schools, new offices, engineering centers, the development of 5G technologies, silicon engineering, artificial intelligence, the introduction of environmental innovations, support for education and research, the modernization of iOS applications, and much more.

At the moment, Apple's position in the market can be described as stable and strong. Demand for its products is buoyant. It constantly improves its technology. There are large-scale investments. Should investors expect an increase in shares?

Interestingly, the coronavirus pandemic has helped the company boost revenue. Apple stocks have increased twofold over this period.

Naturally, Apple shares are in great demand among investors. Yet, currently, its shares are somewhat overvalued. In addition, the FAS fined the corporation $12 million for allegedly abusing its dominant position in the apps market. Therefore, experts do not rule out a correction and recommend focusing on long-term goals, limiting the share of Apple stocks in the investment portfolio.
